Wine wall calendars are the subject on this website ... however ... wine wall calendars are not ( ! ) the subject on this first page of this website. It is a cool option to get to know a real magazine about wine. However, it's available in German only. Sorry about that. That is, the Internet Portal "Württemberger Weine". Learn some exciting things on this, my Publishing House website, on which you are currently reading. However, not consistently about the topic wine, but rather a loose conglomeration about my Publishing House, in which the wine wall calendar appears, about the wine village of Flein, about the history of wine advertising , postage stamps to the topic of some wine facts and finally also a little about Johann Sebastian Bach.
My special wish is also to provide the way to www.württemberger-weine.de to you and to make a visit there accessible if you are not yet familiar with this informative and extensive portal ... and as I mentioned before ... if, yes ... only you speak German. And don't be impressed by the fact that this magazine only seems to address lovers of Württemberg wines or those wine fans who live between Constance and Heidelberg. No, the magazine is a light and pleasant, and worth reading mixture of wine topics for wine connoisseurs all over Germany.
The wine community of Flein. Here the wine wall calendar 2020 was "invented" in the fall of 2019, here lives the author of the wine wall calendar (... my husband Peter), here I am living and working and from here my Publishing House "Bach 4 You" sends all wine wall calendars and also the 60 music calendars, about which you can learn here even more later. Of course, the wine wall calendars are also available for the current year, but starting late in spring, they might only be available hot off the press.
The wine-growing community of Flein with the vineyards in the background: Here, every creative person can think of suitable ideas for a wine wall calendar and for this small wine wall calendar mini-magazine.
Only nine driving minutes away from each other live three creative people and at some point this just had to happen: They found each other. Over different core areas, but with the common ground of making the internet the medium of choice. Three creatives, that's first Silvia Schelle, managing director and owner of "Württemberger Weine" and that's Renate Bach, owner of the Music and Wine Wall Calendar Publisher "Bach 4 You" as well as Peter Bach Jr., who enthusiastically creates websites and "invents" music calendars and wine wall calendars. "Württemberger Weine" is operated from Heilbronn, "Bach 4 You" from Flein. The theme of the "wine wall calendar" and especially a jointly conceived personalized wine wall calendar led to an exciting togetherness.
Wine wall calendars only played a small role about ten years after the beginning of our common Johann Sebastian Bach Mission. The mission, that is the project Bach on Bach of my husband Peter in the one hand. On the other hand it is my Publishing House Bach 4 You, a music calendar publishing house. I offer about 100 music calendars and twelve wine wall calendars. You are welcome to read more about this below.
The constantly updated magazine and portal "Württemberger Weine" (... Wines of Württemberg) is produced within walking distance of the town center and the market square of Heilbronn. The wine wall calendar, however ... is created in Flein. And right: ... it is not printed in Flein.
Flein, south of Heilbronn, Southern Germany, in the midst of a landscape of vineyards, forest and fields: This is where the wine wall calendar "originated" a while ago. And ... with a little less pathos: This is where the tiny music calendar and wine wall calendar publisher "Bach 4 You" is based.
You didn't expect that. Right? Here awaits you a six minutes short video about the wine community of Flein. With music, film, pictures and text narrated by a professional. Yes, we can do more than "just" wine wall calendars and music calendars.
Right, only one single wine wall calendar was planned first. That is to say, my husband planned one. My husband, who has so many "cool" ideas, which I am supposed then to convert into reality. He thinks up projects in five minutes, I need five weeks to implement them professionally. So he thought up this one – later first – wine wall calendar. And it came out differently.
My husband absolutely wanted to create a second wine wall calendar. One like in the music calendar offer of my Publishing House: Stamps of composers in general and stamps of Johann Sebastian Bach in particular exist almost like "sand by the sea" and therefore there are two Bach stamps calendars and two composer stamps calendars in my Publishing House Bach 4 You. It is different with stamps on the subject "wine". There it looks "poor". Not only are there no particularly beautiful ones, there are also not nearly enough wine stamps to select the most beautiful ones from those. Conclusion: Unfortunately, there will never ever be a wine wall calendar on the subject of "wine on postage stamps". At least ... until further notice.
A German postage stamp regarding the subject of wine: for a wine wall calendar ... this one would be cool.
Also perfect for a wine wall calendar: a wine postage stamp from Hungary.
And this wine postage stamp sheet probably would also have made it into the wine wall calendar No. 2: If there only would be more of those postage stamps with wine motifs ...
Right, it is of little importance to learn why a wine wall calendar, that is to say a second wine wall calendar, was not created (... or is that exciting and entertaining after all?). And if you don't have much time and leisure, then reading on here isn't really yielding. But this page was not created for this purpose: to inform you to the point about the "real existing" wine wall calendars. That works better here ... and also much, much faster.
We continue to a projected "Historical Wine Wall Calendar". Old engravings, postcards, watercolors, prints and much, much more historical material can be found about Johann Sebastian Bach in a big number. Here you can discover, what I mean. You only have to research long enough, and then you can get enthusiastic about your finds. It's different when you're looking for similar material on the subject of wine for a "Wine Calendar Number 2". That's what we thought. In the meantime, it exists, even if the research was many times more difficult than in the matter of J.S. Bach. And there is also not only one, but several. Here you can get to them "quite quickly".
It's surely cute ... however, cute enough to qualify for one of the monthly pages in a historic wine wall calendar?
Historic? Absolutely. Exciting? Sort of, too. However? Just let yourself be surprised what my Publishing House has created from the findings around the topic of wine and historical advertising. Just take a look in the shop. It' worth it.
Cool? Yes, certainly. Super exciting? Hm .... are these little historical "works of art" really allowed in a wine wall calendar then?
However, what you read about, was the situation in the very beginning of the wine wall calendar project ... but it developed absolutely strange: That is why this mentioned creative Publishing House Team (... publisher and calendar author) today offers not only one but twelve wine wall calendars. Please, just go on reading.
It's true that Flein, south of Heilbronn, Germany is home to the wine wall calendar, which may soon be hanging on a wall in your home or the home of your friends or your acquaintances, but practically nobody knows that. And ... it is also not important. You are reading here – still – because you find this page entertaining. Because you enjoy reading or because you are interested in what "is still to come". Or for all three reasons mentioned.
Flein ... is a small, independent wine-growing community, and you actually should watch the mini video of only six minutes length above. In English. Of course, the wine wall calendar is not mentioned in it, because the video has been around for some time. But the wine wall calendar has not. However, if you are not in the mood for watching a video right now, you are on the road or simply prefer to be entertained reading, then you can also postpone it until later.
The view from the Haigern, the "local mountain" of the Fleiners. Did you know that you can become a Fleiner ... but not get the coveted title "Fleinama"? Yes, that's how it is. Only who is actually born at a time when his or her parents lived in Flein ... or were Fleinama ... belongs to the "noble inner circle" of these residents. And why isn't that arrogant? Because my husband and I are both no Fleinama, but we feel very comfortable here anyhow, and we are not mad with the "natives", that there remains a small but fine demarcation "forever". And: The vast majority of Fleinama also like all Fleiners who have not always lived here.
This is ""Veit in the Potty:" Veit is the Holy Saint Veit, the potty is the vessel with the hot water.
Flein, that is today about 7,200 residents and Flein is an independent municipality. With the mayor Alexander Krüger, two churches, the bus connection with the Heilbronn Transport Services, a little lake, many shops and also many restaurants.
Flein was first mentioned in a document in 1188, and it belonged to Heilbronn for about 400 years between then and today. It successfully resisted incorporation in the middle of the last century. A much visited wine festival in the summer is the highlight in the village center and tractors belong – with the wine growing around Flein, in particular during the grape harvest –to the everyday life community sight. During this grape harvest, the streets are crowded with wine vehicles around the new building of the winegrowers' cooperative.
Almost logically, Flein is located in the Heilbronn district, and you can get from the community limit to Heilbronn by car in just two minutes. The coat of arms of Flein represents a saint who is currently being braised. On an open flame: It is "Saint Veit im Häfele", "Häfele" is what the Fleiners call the little pot, in which Veit is sitting. There is an old town hall (... the pic further up) and a new one, which is beautiful, but not worth showing. Subjectively, of course. The Deinenbach flows, better flowed through the village, today it is canalized, since that Flein stays dry in heavy rain. Most of the time, anyway, not in 2021, for example.
Flein is "encircled" by three municipalities: Untergruppenbach, Talheim and – as mentioned in the north – Heilbronn. And when the paragraph above about this Saint already started a bit silly, then we continue the fun here, because it is to be read that the blasonization of Flein is a ... in blue on golden-red flames gold red cauldron, in it, the undressed, golden nimbed, praying holy Saint Veit. Today, Saint Veit is the patron saint of Flein. Nimbed means, by the way, that he had a gloriole.
This is what Queen Elizabeth II looked like in 1965. And what does she have to do with Flein and wine? Just keep reading, please.
Flein also has partner communities: In France it is Onzain, in the department Loir-et-Cher and Steinthaleben in the Kyffhäuser County in Thuringia, Germany. That's why the video is also available in French, however ... not in Thuringian. ✓
There has been wine culture in Flein since the 13th century, so it is mentioned in documents, Flein lies on the Württemberg Wine Route, and in 1951 the Württemberg Wine Queen was a resident of Flein. Clear, that surely won't happen again, but if you consider that in 1950 only 2,400 residents lived in Flein and in Baden-Württemberg today eleven million, then it's actually "a cool thing".
The highlight regarding the subject of "Flein and Wine" is the fact that Queen Elizabeth II was served Flein Altenberg Spätlese at a banquet on the occasion of her state visit to Germany, in 1965. Plus, John F. Kennedy is said to have enjoyed Flein Wine on the occasion of his state visits.

Yes, in 1951 the Wine Queen was a Flein resident, born in Flein. We thought, it wouldn't be that easy to get both permission to publish and the photos regarding this event. But after Peter asked an elderly couple in the village center, whether they knew about a winery with the name of Seitz, they instantly sent him to the local wine and beverage specialist Armbruster here in Flein. There, it was a matter of seconds, when one of the owners took the document from the wall behind him and only two days, until he had a photo album from the 1950s in his hands and got the permission to reproduce the picture of the Wine Queen. Please go on reading below the following pictures.
Did you know that "Bach 4 You" produces and offers personalized calendars? This is very exclusive in the case of the printing of only one wine wall calendar. But it's almost as inexpensive as the regular calendars, from a "print run" of eleven pieces. And how does it work? Your wine wall calendar can be personalized if we receive your company logo from you. Of course, it's about the title wine wall calendar page. We need your company logo in high quality.
As a thank you, your wine wall calendar with your company logo is perfect for your very special customers. Plus, your very special suppliers. Or guests. This is how the wine wall calendar title page looks like, for example.
How does a tiny publishing company in Southern Germany get to offer 99 + 3music calendars and twelve wine wall calendars?
It actually took several years. Time jump back. Around 2012, I, Renate Bach, owner of my Book and Calendar Publishing House, found out that my husband, Peter Bach Jr., is related to the composer Johann Sebastian Bach. This inspired both of us so much that the project Bach on Bach came into being: It is a series of websites and books which are intended to inform about the composer worldwide. And about his music.
He'll never find his way into a wine wall calendar. In general, Bach is associated more with the beverage beer. But no, he didn't write a "beer cantata".
The project of Peter Bach Jr., Bach on Bach: That is today several websites, which inform about the Thomas Cantor in 50 languages. Especially for children, there is a website Johann Sebastian Bach for Children. On both websites, hundreds of pages provide information on various aspects "in the matter of Bach": stamps, quotes, music, clubs, choirs, orchestras, books ... the author leads carefully and entertainingly to all that. This is his credo and the opposite of all other information about Bach on the internet and in all other books.
Bach in Weimar: This motif will also never ever find its way into a wine wall calendar ... why would it?
With more and more websites and books, more and more illustrations became necessary: mostly historical printed material, such as postcards and old engravings, which of course were not available for free. In addition, more and more modern and hip as well as cool cartoons and paintings regarding the master were needed. In order to at least partially refinance the expenses, I founded my Publishing House Bach 4 You in the middle of the last decade, with the goal of monetizing the purchased works of art and treasures again in order to generate a budget for future purchases of this kind. Also, future travel, books, DNA research and costs for a genealogist are supposed to be compensated.
That thing on the right, that is such a historic treasure, which became a monthly calendar page much later. Right, not in a wine wall calendar, but ... in a Bach calendar.
Almost as a matter of course, we both Bachs quickly realized that even among eight billion people on earth, there are too few Bach fans to compensate for the expenses mentioned above. The only music calendar on offer back then, however, was the winner among all the Bach gifts on offer. So Peter Bach Jr. "tinkered" 98 + 3more music calendars: pipe organ calendars, Bach calendars, music calendars, composers calendars, one Mozart calendar and one Beethoven calendar. This way was the right one.
In demand worldwide and "transformed" into many gifts: the annual new pipe organ calendar from "Bach 4 You".
Back to the subject of wine and the offer of wine wall calendars and the internet portal "Württemberg Wines" and Silvia Schelle in Heilbronn. If you live close enough to each other – just nine minutes away by car – and there is one person who connects both "parties" (... the wine portal and my Calendar Publishing House), then the idea arises to "create" and offer the one special wine wall calendar in addition to 99 + 3 music calendars. And so the path from Johann Sebastian Bach led to the first wine wall calendar. Plus, after that to eleven more.
From the Bach calendar via many, many music calendars to the wine wall calendar.
Once again my hint and the option to personalize the wine wall calendar. You get to the shop with a click here.
When Peter becomes creative, he often doesn't stop with "inventing" new ideas. And so he even invented a second, the so-called premium personalized wine wall calendar. It's a very special offer to all professional folks in the wine growing industry, in the restaurant business and the beverage trade on a high level. Twelve inside pages and one title page are personalized and individualized at least in four areas, the first page even five times.
Peter was unhappy with his "early" finds in terms of historical prints on the subject of wine. But I ... have more energy to look for surprises on the internet. So "I jumped in" and researched for real exciting historic printings and for cool photos related to the subject of wine. And I found the necessary number of printings and photos. Peter was happy again and finally today there are twelve wine wall calendars, which all can become personalized wine wall calendars, too. Please enjoy the title pages of these wine wall calendars below.
A total of seven wine wall calendars. One belongs to the value priced calendars, all others are "print on demand" offers. Please discover the monthly pages with a click here. The monthly pages of the value priced wine wall calendar order number 1 will follow next. By the way, check here for the three sizes, in which all calendars come.

This wine wall calendar is available in all three sizes favorably. In DIN A4 for for € 13,90*. In DIN A3 for € 19.90* and in DIN A2 for € 39.90*. * All prices include VAT. S&H costs are added.
The seven wine wall calendars are in fact the only exception in the offer of my small Book and Calendar Publishing House and the Bach Shop "Bach 4 You" without the theme of music. As actually, there is practically no offer that has nothing to do with music or Bach. Except – since 2019 – these seven wine wall calendars. The images below give you just a small overview of the items that Bach fans and music fans can turn into cool Bach gifts.
The Bach beer stein is a huge subject at "Bach 4 You" ...
... plus, the Bach figure ...
... sure: What would the subject of Bach be without related books, such as biographies, books for children, books about his music, novels and many more themes ...
... music T-shirts and Bach-T-shirts ...
... hundreds of Bach articles and composers articles, in fact hundreds ...
... and, finally, also the mentioned 20 Bach calendars out of the 60 music calendars.
Now you know the story of how the interest and the enthusiasm for Johann Sebastian Bach and his music finally – after a few years – led to the wine wall calendar. So, more precisely, meanwhile ... to twelve wine wall calendars. Thank you very much for visiting this website and the reading of this page and for letting me entertain you until here. For your convenience here's a final option to get to the shop. Just a reminder: With the international title page above this calendar is a value priced calendar in all sizes. With the English title page (... to your right) it is a "hot off the press" wine wall calendar and not that inexpensive. But in all three sizes.
